Fundraising with Military Shirts
What activities does the Campaign Organizer need to do?
Ultimately these steps are really up to you and the beneficiary, but the more advertising and awareness activities you take the better response you’ll get. Here are few suggestions:
- Set a reasonable Campaign Goal, we can help you with this projection.
- Help create a broad mix of Products for people to choose from. Offer multiple apparel choices as well as different designs, colors, etc. if possible.
- Coordinate a marketing and advertising schedule, to include announcements on your Facebook page, posters and bulletins within your group to raise awareness. Put together a brief timeline of planned Facebook campaign updates and communications about status updates.
- Try to get as many team members involved early on and set direct ‘sales’ or influence goals per member.
What are the marketing and advertising activities you perform?
We’ll post your Fundraising Campaign on our Facebook Page and then setup Facebook ‘Boost Post’ ads depending on what you set for a budget. We recommend starting with $5 to $10 per day and tracking conversions. We can also setup direct advertising campaigns on Facebook and Google.
What is the percentage of each sale that goes directly to the fundraiser beneficiary?
This will vary depending on a number of factors, to include: cost of the items you choose, cost of the decorating or embellishment options you choose, prices you set, total quantity sold, etc. Our goal is to retain a modest profit for Military Shirts’ operations while returning as much as possible back to the underlying cause. A conservative estimate would be that you can expect anywhere from 30-40% of the total product sales to go to the beneficiary, and 100% of all ‘Additional Donations Amounts’ less the payment processing fee of approximately 3%. We’ll provide you with complete transparency along the way and a full reconciliation upon completion of your fundraiser.
